Well, it feels like fall has finally set in. I'm sitting on the back porch down in Cordele looking over Blackshear and a truly Auburn sky. It almost looks on fire. Praise the Lord!
I got in 4.5m in 41:40 this evening after work. Easy running at a 9+ minute pace. The temp was around 70, but it was a cooling down 70. You know, the kind where there is almost a little chill in the air. This is great running weather!
I'm still not hydrating like I should be. I must address this over the next couple of weeks. I've got the Twilight 10k up at Callaway in two weeks and then I'm running a 12 miler with Josh and Nate at the beach in about 4 weeks. I'm a bit nervous, but at the same time excited about the distance. I've got to get my weekly run totals up. MUST FIND TIME TO RUN! NOT PUT OFF! GET BUTT OUT OF BED!
In addition to the running becoming more a part of my life, I think that I am also starting to feel the Lord's steady pressure. Not to quit my job and do anything crazy, but instead, just to be who I Am intended me to be. I think I might be interested in that! Irrespective of the life change that it might bring. I want to be a Godly father. I want my wife to know that I love her and will lay aside my life for her. I want to participate in change for Christ...

Those are inspiring words. I am proud to see those. As always, I pray for you and your family in the continuing challenges of running Goldens' and being who God expects you to be. God bless you.
