Left work a little early this evening, got home and changed and headed out to the Riverwalk. Had a little work release that needed to be executed so I decided to stretch today's run into a 6.2 miler. There were times during the out portion where I really wanted to turn around but I kept at it. I wasn't killing the pace by any means, but it was still a nice run. 6.2m in 58'21". Out in 28'46" and back in 29'35". Weather was perfect, sunset was beautiful and except for one area where they had done some construction on a sewer where the smell of sewage was in the air and another area where there were some gas mains that were leaking smelling of raw eggs, the route was perfect.
I've started listening to a guy named Dave Ramsey on my ipod. This guy is phenomenal. He is a christian financial caregiver. I say caregiver because that's exactly the way he approaches questions and callers. He is a faith first believer in a debt free way of life. Not because debt is a sin, but because life is better when you are not slave to the lender. Anyway, google him if you are interested. He is a heck of a guy.
