After feeling great about the run on Monday, I've had a couple of days of no way. I worked Tuesday from 5 til 5:30 or so and then hopped in the car leaving Cordele for the Atlanta airport and a 10pm flight to Raleigh/Durham, NC. After a quick nap of a sleep and a full day of meeting at Deere, I caught a 7:45 flight out on Wednesday and drove back to Cordele arriving around 12:30am. Then in this morning around 6 in Cordele and home this afternoon by 4 or so and back at work in Columbus. After a 5:45 coach pitch game for big E, I finally decided that I had the time to fit in a run (remember all the times I failed to do that last week and prior). Sooo, 3.7m in 35:07. It's funny, when I finished, I took my watch off before I read my finish time. When I looked at it, my watch was upside down. 35:07 upside down reads kind of like this... LO:SE. So either my watch was telling me I'm a loser or that I am losing something. Maybe weight because I did tip the scales at 208 after my run. I still look like a slob, but I have lost 17 pounds now since July. The run felt bad again...running with dead legs and having a hard time swallowing my saliva out there made for a slow pace and somewhat pained running.
So with all that said, I hope to get another run in tomorrow.

starting is the hardest part
The worst thing about layoffs is getting your lazy ass out there and breaking it! I've been missing running now for over 2 weeks but I still have to beg myself to get out there and run when I have the opportunity. I know that at least 4 times over the last 10 days, I've had time to get runs in, but didn't have the will for it! What a loser!
This evening's run was a real lazy jaunt. Feet felt like they were running in mud. There was no hop in my step at all. Still though, I got in 3.6 or so. Not all bad considering I guess. And I did break the seal...
I'm traveling again this week (came to Cordele late last night), so I hope I can get something in over the next couple of days. Going to NC late tomorrow evening and then I hope back home late Wednesday night. BTW, in at 5:30 this a.m., out at 6p.m. and still got in the run!
