After the last post, it would be safe to say that outside of some difficulty at work, things were rolling along pretty well....so, queue the unrest, the schedule change, the distraction. Instead of finishing the month with a bang and cresting the century mark in mileage, the 7 miler from last week was the last of the runs for the month. A bankruptcy filing and a trip to see a friend ended up closing out the month for me. Heck, I wasn't even able to give the wife the birthday she deserved on Friday. So where there was momentum and excitement, it has now been replaced by the need to build again. Good thing is, I still feel ready for it, and more, God is still working. And I need it now more than ever!
For the running side, I got in 4.25m this evening with Timm...Seems like a run after bible study on Monday nights might be a good fit going forward. It was a good run. That's all for now.
By the way, with the missing of the 2 runs at the end of last week (16 miles total), I finished with 86 miles for the month of September. Not too bad, but still disappointing with how close I was.
