Saturday 4 miler

4 miles this afternoon before Ed's game. Two fig.8's around the park in 34'11". Actually ended up with about an 8'33" pace. That's about 1 minute faster than my runs earlier this week. Of course the park is a flat track, so that helps, but I did run it so that I caught the uphill on the SW side of the track.

I'm starting to look into when some races are so that I can get some on the calendar. Hopefully I'll have a couple picked out next week.

By the way, I'm starting the hundred pushup challenge tomorrow.

3 runs this week...one to go.

Alright, I'm not saying that there is anything certain here, but I'm laying the groundwork for a comeback.

2.25 on Tuesday and 3 on Thursday.  I'll get in another 3 or better Saturday.

It feels good feeling good about exercising again.

Also looking at another opportunity.  100 pushups.  I did 37 yesterday as the initial test.  I think I'll start on week 3 like they recommend and see how things go.  100 pushups, here we come.  A couple of years ago, I was doing 50 without stopping with no problem.  We'll see how long it takes me to get back.  I'm guessing 2 weeks or so.

starting again, again.

ran 1.5 yesterday and walked another 1 down at the park. Ed had baseball practice on the track fields so it was convenient and I could find a reasonable excuse. weighed 219 this morning. time to get back on track i guess.
